Bambinos Childcare Centres
Bambinos Childcare Centres were originally established in 1995. We have continued to provide outstanding childcare in Plymouth offering parents and carers the highest standard of care, learning and development opportunities in a safe, secure and happy environment. At Bambinos children enjoy a daily variety of activities to nurture their social, intellectual, emotional and physical development indoors and out! We are proud to offer care from a committed and valued team, many loyal and longstanding staff, all highly motivated and fully trained. In December 2023, we welcomed Frogmore Montessori Nursery and Preschool to our Bambinos group of nurseries.
Footsteps Day Nursery
Footsteps Day Nursery are two nurseries in Hove and Portslade, established over 20 years ago. Our wonderful childcare practitioners and professionals become part of your extended family; forming deep a bond and putting your child’s social and psychological development at the heart of everything we do. Footsteps Day Nurseries learning environments are enriching spaces that encourage children to learn and connect with their local community, providing the best possible learning outcomes and preparing children for their next steps in education.
Little Explorers
Our vision at Little Explorers is to provide child care that meets the needs of each child and family in a safe, educational environment. We aim to focus on the individual needs of the child, whilst providing quality, reliable and safe childcare. We have a passionate, highly qualified team working across our three settings in Sussex, bringing together a wealth of childcare knowledge. They work hard to support the entire family of Little Explorers, and scaffold our approach to growth and development in the early years.
Frogmore Montessori
Frogmore Montessori became part of Bambinos Childcare Centres in December 2023. At Frogmore we put the children into a prepared learning environment, where children can freely choose their activities and learn through play using Montessori toys and resources. Guided by our trained teachers, the children have access to self-educating practical play which encourages them to ask their own questions and discover their own answers. Our belief is that an environment set up this way, gives children a deeper level or understanding of the different areas of learning, such as language and mathematics, as well as social interaction and more.
Muddy Boots Day Nurseries
Muddy boots is a group of three nurseries located in Devon. We offer outstanding childcare, full of engaging and stimulating activities specifically designed to ignite a child’s imagination and encourage holistic learning and development. It is our strong belief that children benefit from fresh air, mud, running and exercise and this is encouraged throughout the day with sessions being outdoors for as much of the day as possible. The best days end with dirty knees, happy hearts and muddy boots
Stepping Stones Day Nursery and Pre-school
Stepping Stones Day Nursery and Pre-school is a single nursery located in Okehampton, Devon. We provide a happy, caring, safe and secure environment, enabling the children in our care to thrive and be stimulated through their surroundings, activities and resources. Our warm and positive atmosphere, encourages children to learn through play. Stepping Stones Day Nursery and Pre-school was graded Outstanding by Ofsted in 2022. It is spacious, airy and full of natural light, comprising of three main play rooms, the Butterflies Pre School, Caterpillars, rising twos, and Bumblebees, four months to 2 years.
We make sure that the children in our care will, from an early age, have properly structured days which include stories and music sessions. Through a variety of resources, adult and child led activities; children will be introduced to skills and concepts which form the basis for learning in the seven areas of learning outcomes.
